Lavendar in the Morning

Artist's Description

Meet Lavendar, my neighbor’s darling white brindle calf who will kiss your cheek if you ask her to. Lavendar got out of the gate one day when a trash pickup service failed to close it back as they left. My husband and I arrived home to find her in our back pasture. We live across the road and down quite a bit, so she had taken a nice stroll up the road. She walked right up to me. I know some of my closer neighbors have lovely white calves, as well. I began to call them. I was certain this was my neighbor Charlie’s cow. I tried all kinds of descriptive adjectives over the phone, Charlie kept insisting that that could not be his calf. FINALLY I snapped to it that it was Lavendar, a good distance from home. She followed me all the way back up the road as I led her home. She’s precious.

Canon EOS 50D Canon L series F4 70-200 mm lens (my new FAVORITE, very lightweight, awesome lens!!!)
