Artist's Description

This photo looks like it was part of a portrait session, but it was completely impromptu and shot very quickly. I was at a friend’s house and saw her two grandsons playing with this dog on the floor. She is a stray that they had recently adopted. This poor little stray was so shy, but wanted to be caught, too. For almost 8 months, she hung around our houses, with a collar too tight on her, strap hanging down about a foot. She woud eat what we gave her, but never let anyone touch her. It took a trap to get her. My friend raises labs for a living. This is the only non lab dog at her home. While she is still somewhat shy with everyone else, the grandsons have her eating out of the palm of their hands, loving on her happens all the time. We think she is a Walker Hound. She is beautiful, growing more friendly day by day. You can only wonder what happened to her.
This photo is only for sale to families of the children.

Canon EOS 50D EF70-200mm lens
