I am sure most of you have experienced painter’s block and I have had this for the past few days…eventually I thought I would attempt painting fruit, this led to berries, which of course led to my favourite subject trees.
ORIGINAL SOLD – solo show For the Love of Art
See the berries on the tree,
Ripe and ready, flowing free.
Swaying gently in the breeze,
Side by side amongst the leaves.
With glints of sunlight they jostle and play,
Bunched together night and day.
© Linda Callaghan
Technique: Dropping watercolours on to wet paper and manipulating the flow. I then let it dry and shaped the painting.
