Raining and cold here tonight so reached for my watercolour pad and sitting in front of the fire added a frosty painting to my tree series.
Choosing my favourite colours of blue and purples I applied water to the paper first and drew with my paintbrush my Whispering Tree.
The Whispering Tree
Can you hear the whispers in the air,
floating gently everywhere.
Softly calling for all to see
at the top of the hill the whispering tree.
What you need to hear is waiting for you,
at the top of the hill where the trees are blue.
Whispers will fall and find their mark,
and the light will shine cloaking the dark.

Trees are certainly your favorite subject Linda…you have painted them in all seasons…this is a really pretty one….
