This painting of an old flour mill located by the River Teifi, West Wales was inspired by a visit recently to my homeland. It sits beside the beautiful Cenarth Falls. The history of this mill dates back to the 17th century and is still in use today. I decided to change the backdrop to the mill for more colour and interest.

Acrylic painting on 50 cm x 50 cm Canvas.

Escape to the Country

Pack your bags it is time to go,
leave the rush behind, move more slow.
Escape to the country, fresh air we will breathe,
the noise and pollution is what we will leave.
We will stay for a while taking in the scene,
and go away feeling more serene.
