There are many pretty goldfish that live in ponds, rivers and aquariums but I especially like the beautiful, velvety Black Moor Goldfish. These fish live for 20-25 yrs and grow to 10-12" long.

Amongst the Reeds

Along the riverbed I swim and play,
amongst the reeds is where I stay.
Safe from harm in my watery home,
I happily live all alone.
The reeds sway catching the light,
sparkling and pretty I love this sight.
I will not leave this world of mine,
I will live here in silence for all time.

Ooh Linda, we had an enormous Black Moor a few years back, we called him The Admiral… had to get a bigger tank for him and his golden pal as they grew. Lovely picture!

  • thank you so very much ….what a great name Admiral! yes they do grow very big…we have fan tails inside in a large fish tank…they are so relaxing to watch…glad you like it !

As pretty as the little fish is, what really caught my eye was the excellent work on the sea grass. Both colour and details are amazing looking.

  • thank you so very much Jim…I did have fun with the grass…did my usual wet in wet technique and then shaped the grass…with a squirt of my water bottle some great shapes took place! glad you like it Jim :-)
