Abstract
Acrylics
It is the beginning of Autumn here in Australia and I was inspired to paint all the beautiful colours of the autumn leaves as they are changing.
Painted on a dark background to show off their brilliant colours they look to me like they are almost blowing in the wind. (90cm x 30cm acrylic painting on canvas, painted with Professional Matisse acrylics). Original is for sale.
Colours of Autumn
See the colours blowing in the breeze,
tumbling and dancing, watch the leaves.
Carrying with them droplets of rain,
Each one different, never the same.
It has been a long wait to see their display,
So enjoy them now before they float away.

These leaves are so delicate and detailed with good placement and movement (sorry Linda sounded as though I am doing one of my uni assignments!!)

A wonderful painting Linda…beautiful colours..and love the dark B/G shows them off beautifully…how on earth did you do those wonderful drops ??..a sure fav
