Trying to capture the heat of a landscape in tropical regions, I dropped watercolour paint onto Arches 300 gsm watercolour paper then shaped the painting.

Tropical heat

The hot sun’s rays light up the trees,
spraying light and colour into the breeze.
The heat unbearable, the sky lights up,
and the forest sparkles with a rainbow touch.

You have rendered wonderfully the heat with these vibrant colours. The whole painting turns it into a very stunning, abstract work, a bit different from you what you usually do. I love this as it catches the look immediately and there is a good feel in it. Bravo Linda !

  • thanks so very much Corinne for your nice comment …yes I am experimenting as you can see….so glad you like it :-)
