Gliding gracefully under the water are the leafy seadragons, moving sedately through the water they look just like floating seaweed. They are fascinating creatures with leaf like protrusions and are found in Australia.

    Love this little guy! I’ve never seen one of these….only in photos. They sort of remind me of a seahorse having a bad hair day! LOL!

    this is beautiful wahini Linda……….
    you know there are 54 species of the seahorse / sea dragon / sea monster all being Hippocampus.

    I love the sea dragons and never fail to visit their tanks when I am at my local aquarium!* Yours is a wonderful interpretation of their strange beauty and an instant fave for me!
