It has been quite some time since I have posted a journal but wanted to share some good news, apart from thanking all the lovely people who purchase my works.
I was notified on the weekend that one of my paintings ‘Blue Mountains Mist’ has been selected for the ‘Infinities of Blue’ Exhibition at NSW Parliament House, Sydney along with the Blue Mountains Artist Network. Opening 4th March 2016 3-5pm and runs until April. So very honoured to be chosen and looking forward to this memorable experience. After a broken down car, and then having to run the paintings up the hill to the selection venue I just made it on time so glad it was a happy ending ☺

It has been an interesting 6 months since I posted last. I open my Studio & Gallery to the public on occasions and I meet some interesting and lovely people, who to my delight, also make purchases. Redbubble products are popular at the studio, (as well as at a local shop where my bags and cards are on display) quite a few items have new homes along with 10 of my original paintings that have sold since July. At present I am busy painting more originals for a solo exhibition coming up in March next year, excited and nervous at the…
Hope you are keeping well. I thought I would let you know what I have been up to lately. My ‘Lindart’ Studio is coming along nicely and I have had two studio open weekends since my last post. April open weekend I saw over 40 people come through! It was a wonderful experience meeting new people, chatting to other artists and as an added bonus I made quite a few sales, including Spirit of Trees Books, an original – ‘Wentworth Falls Cascades’ along with prints and cards. A lovely couple who live in the Blue Mountains came back a few weeks later to my delight and purchased my large painting Towards Echo Point ☺

Trust you are all well. It has been a few months since I added a post so touching base to let you know what I have been up to this year. The beginning of the year saw me complete a couple of commissions, and I have opened my studio doors on occasions to welcome customers local and afar. I am really enjoying meeting new people and making a few sales along the way.

Hi dear friends I am sure many of you know Australia is experiencing many bushfires and we have a State of Emergency declared here. We do have 3 major ones in the Blue Mountains, besides others, that have taken homes and livelihoods. Very sad and heart wrenching news all round and we are all anxious at this time. Many of my dear friends from Redbubble have contacted me to see if we are ok. We are fine for now and I thank you for your concerns, it helps to know others are thinking of us.
We have a fire down the mountains and a fire above us and we are in the middle, the fear is that in the next 3 days, with high winds expected, they will meet in the middle and we will have a 300 kilometre fire wall.
Three fire fighters called at our door today to see if our house was prepared and what ou…

Hi Bubblers It has been a very busy time of late for me with organising the opening day of my studio/gallery recently that co-incided with the Blue Mountains Arts Trail. It went well (despite a hacker bringing down the Blue Mountains site with the details a few days before) and I had a wonderful day. Although I did not make any major sales a lot of my Redbubble cards were sold and I had a string of visitors throughout the day. I had just started a commission, ‘Kookaburra Magic’, so was good timing to share it and I have picked up another! Here is just one photo of the day:
NEWS: STUDIO OPENING DAY is nearly here! Sunday 28th April is creeping closer and I am busy tying up loose ends..opening my doors for the first time to co-incide with the Blue Mountains Arts Trail and then by appointment.
Splashes of colour are hanging on my walls with framed and canvas paintings. Cards (Redubble of course) are fanned out around the room to catch the viewer’s attention and a large variety of prints mounted and unmounted are waiting for new homes. In my studio.
SALES: I was delighted to hear that my painting Love’s Promise
sold at the Summer Edge Exhibition at a local Gallery (all 3 entered sold – a trifecta!)
In the last few months I have sold a few items on the Bubble and I want to thank those for purchasing my work..always a lovely feel…
