Acrylic painting on watercolour paper, with highlights of gold, of a beautiful Yellow Sunflower. This is a gift for a dear friend’s daughter who is turning 18. She adores Sunflowers. A little poem that will accompany this has also been written for her.

I remember the day I nursed you to sleep
Not even a sound, not even a peep.
Who would believe 18 years has now flown
And into a beautiful woman you have now grown!

    i know sunflwoer doesn’t have smell, but i can almost smell things here,!!
