This is an acrylic painting 11” x 14” on cold pressed watercolour paper of Ayres Rock from a distance. Uluru, (Ayres Rock) stands proud in the middle of the Australian Desert with its brilliant red earth. The rock dates back 500 million years.

The Australian landscape is such an inspiration. The natural Desert Red sand against the striking Blue sky is amazing

Alone in the desert it stands proud and tall
Even from a distance you can hear its call.
Ruler of the sands, ruler of the skies
a sight to behold one of a kind.

    I love to come back to this and soak in the colours of our gorgeous country. That is what I love about your work Linda, I feel the love you have for this land that radiates so much beauty….I will always love this country and never tire of spending time out in the forest and bush. We are so blessed with a land that radiates God’s beauty!

    When I have some spare cash I’m going to buy some prints of this and the other painting of Uluru…..love you beautiful lady!
