You know I really had to compare the two because I had favourite the first and really wanted to understand the differences. On this one the flower is definitely larger and the background more muted. Because of this difference the lighting shines even more. Superb by the way. So I will have to vote for this one overall!

this is as beautiful as the trumpet.
The clarity is great and the yellow against the violet rox!
As you know, macro is my favorite place to spend my time and this one is great.
Composing it coming in @ an angle is a great idea and I think increases it’s beauty wonderfully.
You must have shot it this was as opposed to editing manipulation.
