Gifts from the Sea...
delivered on full moon tides
a treasure
now upon my shelf
to remind me
of the many gifts from the sea…
I long to hear
the breathing of the sea
the curving circles
of this shell
echoing the curling
waves around my feet
the purples, golds
and pinks
in the rise and fall of the sun
and the frothy swirl of waves
wrapping around my feet…
the wisdom
seen in analogy
of the cycles of time
and tide
that run strong inside of me
the full moon tides
that rush upon my inner shores
and wash me clean to the bone…
my blood
my spirit
set free
in all her elemental beauty…
