Autumn colors at the old mill. I was here a couple of years ago, and there was no water coming over the dam! Nice to see the water this year!
Weston, Vermont USA
Weston was a tannery town, where the dams and mills were used to aid in the process.

Hi Linda, I lived in Greenfield, Mass. My children’s father was born and raised in the small town of Bernardston. I loved it there but in the seventies when the economy and employment went sour we moved to Georgia. I still have family and friends there, just a lovely area of the state……….Barbara

  • Hi Barbara! Yes, we got married in the early 70’s and the airforce base near here was practically shut down, my husband got laid off two weeks after we got married, and because I had just moved up here from Missouri, I had a hard time finding a job. With God’s grace we made it, and are still going strong “after all these years!”
We have been through Greenfield many times, and the hot air balloon festival I took pictures at last summer was at the college campus there! Nice to meet you! take care, Linda
