oil on hardwood panel – figurative

Like this painting? It is the August image in my NEW 2010 calendar – Everyday Moments

A handsome young man studying in one of the local coffee shops in Columbus,Ohio that I like to go to when I am close by.It’s a great little place. Cozy, friendly with a diverse group of people. The Ohio State University also brings in a large number of students who like to have a great cup of coffee while they study."
The above painting is in one of my books of 50 images titled: Art Journal of Daily Life – volume two available- just click here

WELCOME TO MY ART!
I have been a painter and sculptor for over 43 years professionally and after all this time, I still love it. It is challenging, makes me think about the world and keeps me connected to life.
My art is a mix of realism and impressionism with a bit of humor thrown in.
I am available for commission work- just ask!

Nice legs! Love this Linda. It sure captures contemporary life, as we grab bits and pieces of time for ourselves between go-go-go.

I love this one also…..they all need to be seen enlarged. This is such a great compostion. Again congrats on the Solo….your features look awesome!!

  • The original was 10×10 in. Would love to be doing my paintings more like 4×4ft. but in these economic times…….there just isn’t the demand as much as for the smaller works……….BIG THANKS!

Hi Linda – been looking through your portfolio and must say a lot of pieces remind me of Edward Hopper’s work – I’m a real fan so I’m a fan of your pieces too :)

  • I have gotten the comment many times about Hopper and I consider it a compliment, as I always loved his work too!! Thanks for commenting, glad you enjoy my work.
