Opposite Views

Just had to do a museum piece with one of my favorite artists, Edward Hopper. These guys seem to be missing the point!
They were actually looking at a painting of a guy standing on the ledge of a tall building.

Ha!! Love the commentary. I guess they liked it better than a painting of a woman in bed looking OUT from the ledge of a tall building. One of your classics, Linda. Hope there’s still room for it, considering the 20 limit, in Solo Exhibition.

We’re coming right up on your show, Monday.
    (just sent you a bmail!)

love the illusionary concept, like they are in the same picture, the eye wandering on into the scene but seperated by the frame, well done!

    clever idea!

when i first looked at the preview it made me think you might be being metaphysical with the words “opposite views” as in mind sets etc… could this be true?
great style on your art btw…

  • LindaAppleArt replied

Well, some of the mind set “behind the scenes” is that the two guys are a gay couple…................fun!
