Like this painting? It is the January image in my calendar – Everyday Moments 
I was really pleased with the results on this one.
Parts of it were in an old store window in my neighborhood. I am not sure what they were selling there (if anything) but I did a few sketches of bits and pieces and ended up with this little painting.

Fabulous. Just love this Linda! FAV!
My mother and Dad have an old Victrola (in a huge, mahogony case one!) with at least 100 records that play on it. A kick for company to hear a tune out of the past, on the state of the art player of the time.
That radio looks a lot like an old Philco and here.

Oh, my grandma use to have an old victrola too…........don’t know whatever happened to it (many,many moons ago)...cool that you get to hear one! I think you are right, that it is an old Philco!.Glad you got a kick out of this one!

Thanks gal, I think it was suppose to be one of those RCA dogs….....or just an old similar replica.

I think the old RCA record label was the first one I remember seeing as a wee child. This brings back the memories.

You make your work look like it is easy to do..There is a simple quallity to it. but when you look closer it isn’t at all..There is so much detail and the color is amazing…Your subject material is really interesting so it all comes together so wonderfully.:)
