Rodeos are almost always great fun to watch and photograph. Sometimes when I’m checking to make sure there is nothing unwanted in the background, I find an element of interest almost more intriguing than the main subject.

Shot RAW with a Nikon D3S, 70-200, f2.8 with a 2X teleconverter, during Darby Montana’s Logger Days (USA).

Wonderful capture of this Onlooker, The capture of the bull rider is so good. Look how his hat is pulled down pushing his ears down. Great.

  • I’ll never understand how they keep their hats on, obviously at the expense of their ears. Thanks.
