Thought I would head back out to Cleveland this week and look at taking a shot of the lighthouse out there. I had gone out there some time ago to get some shots of it but when I got there I was surprised how small it was and that it wasn’t sitting out on some rocks with a nice lot of water in the scene. So instead I took a shot of the little jetty (picture below) that I found there. Since then another bubbler (Beth Wode) told me a little about the history of it and said she thought it was a nice little lighthouse, and after looking at her pictures of it I think she has done it justice.
This is my take on it. I walked behind the lighthouse to get out of the sun and looked up to see a magnificent (but very bright) glow radiating out from around it. I thought, this calls for a filter so lets see what we can get. I was wrapped with the result and tried several other settings and techniques of which you can see the photos below. Hope I too have done it justice! And yes it is cute Beth!
