Cosmic Explosion

My colors exploding
attracting a star
we’re pulled to each other
like it was sin
the warmest smile on your face
I see you reaching
twisting my face to look up
to the sky you have constructed for me
with your two hands
as a labor of your love
the only place to welcome this kind of love
something we can create from dust
taking me from this place
floating us up above
moving stars in my galaxy
effortlessly with your strength
creating a new one with your gift
place it next to mine
gently as you weave them
together one at a time
creating a cosmic explosion
of a friendships trust
something divine
your heart is glowing
as I hold it in my hands
aflame lit with sparks
burning in the dark
as if you were searching for me
looking for colors to light your spark
to make a difference
aliens we are in our hearts
change the world
I will be there as
you search for the words
I can see you clearly
in my dim sky
friendship has started
the beginning of us
so reach your hand deep down inside
take what you need
you have my trust

In contrast I saw you
black and white, with a hint of blue
I sensed strength and untold sorrow
providing me light
in a darkening morrow
feeling your power
and compassion
untold love presented
in a friendly fashion
reading works of love cutting deep
offering each other secrets to keep
giving a shoulder to lean on from afar
giving me a guiding light
my own distant star
cosmic forces aligning
friendly pacts signing
our worlds began meshing
creating a new hope
refreshing my heart, with your tears
grasping any and all of our fears
creating lights in dim skies
giving sight to blind eyes
changing the world one word at a time
opening hearts and minds in rhyme
in a galaxy all our own
we sit and create friendship’s throne
in a crystal ball
holding the world’s gaze
we create riddles of words
the mind’s maze
taking the world that was once so bleak
turning it with your imagination
making reality weak
we open doors for those who cannot find the key
cut the ropes that hold ships from the sea
breaking new paths, most fear to tread
walking in our footsteps
the minds of the dead
you created in me
a powerful start
gave me the ability to create from the heart
I am indebted to your cause
offering my friendship without pause
unknowing of where this path may lead
fearing not of being left to bleed
there is many more ships we will set sail
and many more words presented with avail
there is a world beneath our feet
a dedication to creation
that cannot be beat

Thank you so much for doing this with me :)
It is one of my favorites =) I am proud of this ;) and of you :)

  • Me too! It turned out great, definitely one to remember. I will be favoriting. :) It was a pleasure working with you, and being inspired by your words. Thank you as well! You should be proud of yourself too, I know I am! This one lies in your court, since you were the beginning inspiration. ;) Wonderful experience, we MUST do this again sometime.

I must say, I like your work when it’s just you. This is ok, but your too talented to share the spot light with anyone:))) But you did a good job here. I want more Damn It…LOL :)))))

  • I really appreciate all of your comments, and your input on my writings, but I have to say I don’t appreciate this one so much. I enjoyed working with Amanda, and must say this would of never have been possible without her. Thank you for your support, but talent often flourishes in the light of other talent, taking both people to heights they never would of been able to achieve by themselves. I will be working on my own writings for you to enjoy, although I am positive there will be future collaborations with her as well. ;)

I am sorry…I meant no harm. I merely suggested that I like your work singular. I have offended you :(
…I won’t bother you again. Please forgive me. And take care my friend. Bye bye :(

  • Samantha, I thought your comment was more offensive towards Amanda than myself. She is a good friend to me, which is why I stood up for her. I do not wish to push you away, but in speaking my mind have done so. I forgive you, as I am not one to hold grudges, and hope you can forgive me for any wrongs you feel I may have done you. Take care Samantha.
