Stepping out of Animus

Stepping out of Animus
the particulars release me
floating flotilla failing to facilitate my fluctuations

You are right in a way that I cannot deny:

“We are always somewhere else at the same time”

this explains our unequivocal need for ‘more’… in every subject matter
for this other self is self
it is the holder of all my becoming
my very ability to move forward comes from her unrealized character.

cheap mascara
plump it up lips
nylons from 1974

dangling by the thread emotions look like ripe spiderwebs with morning ‘due’

care for me now dear friend
while I understudy myself
while I take over and sweat out the pain of the unnecessary roughness
catching the ball in your court

I’ve polled myself for president
I’m a woody woodpecker original

Mother said “Darling, it’s the eye that catches the winds of fate
look deeply and with much care and undoubtedly you will see only what you expect”

so I want to steer clear of the unexpected when I undress my silky to the bone Animus loin cloth
made of sheep bahhh bah baahing me to rest out a lifetime

“To return to the Wonder. To see without eyes”.

Lets do this my friend,
before the temptation to speak without lips that may ‘savor fair’ our lives into oblivion
or breath without a knowing which could sustain everything on the head of a pin

“The image we have of others – why not let it be a follow-through,
free of the acidic assumptions and fake tales we use to fill in the gaps.”

This is more the reason I want to flee from my own assumptions
of what I am or not, or for that matter, what anyone else is

for this is the first base of knowledge, it’s the home run’s honor
a pitch of truth:

“We do not know anybody! Think of how we would treat people
if we respected their mystery, and our own.”

The question is out there.

Oh wow honoured am I.. wrote that another lifetime ago and it was one of those cracks in the egg where a new perspective hatched. Funny how its not in the fore of my mind now, must have absorbed it.. I want to re-read what I wrote so I can comment in context, but I think I will not even click on the link.. Because that is why i write, so it can live on beyond me, in other hearts and minds.. So no click.. You have elevated and evolved my Present.. So will float here with you/me in this wonder..

This is a spellbinding piece of writing Linaji.. Truly complex and intricate yet throwing off something like outgrown clothes.. 1974 you know you were in the Centre that year balancing out (see, I know these things ;) And the ring in the ears is such sweet follow through..

So we don’t know who we are or anyone else fo that matter, not our gender or persuasion.. I think that knowing oneself is that “cloth of the thinnest density”, featherlight, quicksilver, frustrating only to the extent we should think we have it boxed once and for all, but revelatory. I love the “sneaky” energy behind this and woodpecker signals.. ><<><<<<><<>><

I really mean this – I wish for more people like you in the world, who give the invisible a chance, and open to a new Trust beyond it all.. Who are prepared to end a poem by asking a question..

Just slammed out a few blues tunes on guitar and feel good so this completes a nice evening :)

  • Not quite sure if I have ever done this before SB but to take this piece and weave those parts that speak felt quite wonderful. I enjoy writing these days and of course on days when I seem to not write and just read when I can, which for the next few months will be ‘more’ as ‘less’ work binds me body and mind, I come to your neck of the woods and am always filled up with a hope I may write my heart out and choose from the infinite source a way to put words out that somehow connect. Your art of writing gives me much and that back to you something from me arrives… I feel blessed.
Thank you again for reading my pice and for the inspiration and espically for that dang kat with a melon hat…hehehe x

To “flee from our own assumptions” …is a WoWer. This whole piece is so moving! Love love love it.

  • I am off to see your playground, as I just told KS below I am feeling my freeform returning as I let go a major part of a ‘time killer’ and return to easier blocks of living!… I so appreciate you Ken. xxx

I love the bounce we have with each other here! Yep here’s to being whatever it is we are with respect to each other and more so to shout glory be when we are out of fashion, out of step and so not in the ‘In Crowd’ that we trip over our smiles each day as we grin at our uncoolness :)))))))) xxxx

  • KS…. Just woke up and am smiling here too, I feel a dance going on with you and our dearest cohorts, It is I am sure the end of my maniacal summer where I am now out of my box and onto bigger and better birthings….ha! thank you. xoxoxox with miles of :-))))’s delicious !
