The return of the Requiem

she paddled on butterfly boat
streaming the images of colorblind youth
capturing what’s ahead
she said:

“Build me a vision my knight in shining armor
ontop my own that gleans your co-mingle wiseole’owl smile
lets lolligag and prostrate to idles that allow and bestow
upon us
hearts here beckon a swan song with necks intwined.
Ocean edges
shells that speak the truth
sand that buries empty promises
and children that will sing us back to youth”

as she paddled and thought she was living
the various things she was thinking,

(I believe you call it day dreaming with snaggletooth inkling)

her heart exploded like never before
into a million pieces… and kind notes did follow
symphony was born into her own acquired impeccable style

Motzart stole her million pieces and returned this time to play
a most serious contemplation of a requiem hell- bent on what never happened

a tune that knew life’s endless sounds
except the listener
who ended up
deaf, blind and bound

Makes me think of one on the verge of death living in a hallucination until they realize they aren’t really alive and are freed from that dream… or in the case of internal conflict; a nightmare – when we are in that state we are in a nightmare and need to wake-up to overcome.. Love the sequence Lina; how it begins in events but in the end revealed to be unreal.

  • I like your view on this Mui-Ling, it is coming down to that moment sometimes when we turly don’t know what is real except our focus on an event or thought at that ripe moment as to how we feel thinking it. I appreciate you so much, you make fresh my script!

while thinking in a different place
is really in the same old space
awww…until heart exploded…this is not good for her Lina Sounds like the big bang theory on a butterfly boat and Mozart making out like a bandit. Love your snaggletooth attitude. The last stanza or whatever its called is delish :))
