Which comes from the drops of my metered sigh
With rhythm like rain. Pouring though
I
And thus begins the torrent of release
Now a quest for depths of wonder
As I see:
soft lips full
deep blue eyes that water my own
skin like Opium honey
rare and fair and heady
I feel so much here.
I sing in a choir of praises that skim the pond
And perfectly too
Rings of vibrations

I think I must be out of it today, or not in tune with what I’m reading. Linaji, you are an amazing writer, and I’m always inspired by what you write…I thought this was a “life poem” rather than a love poem, and I didn’t feel anything when I read this piece. This is not a critique or anything, this is well written, and you touched many people with this poem….I think the one that’s not ‘getting’ this one is me…I don’t know why. I’m sorry. xx

Cause baby.. you are in the heavens.. and I am sure facing hell sometimes… still.. my heart is tender and a photo of a loved one set this off for me.. I like.. no.. really like you said this.. I feel more comfortable now in allowing myself to state my feelings with you.. yes… it has do do with the foam… that it is produced when one moes the waters?
Is that the pond… the water container of the emotional soul… and the skimming the result of agitating its contain until it foams..?
I know it is a metaphor… your writing burst out with them, and it creates a flashing interest about images and answers to them..I cannot but fancy so many a times. I feel your flow.. and how in this flow the words are much more thatn labels…but these “objects” are somehow hidden many a times… dressed up for different events.. balls, adventures, disguised like in carnival, stark naked like intercoursing with eternal lovers, and even with a mermaid tail… shinning and wet..
You could tell me… about the “skimming pond”... willl you?
