Prescience To A Birthday
Absolutely True,,
from the moment I woke up to the time I went to bed, so much magic happened that I dare say waking up today seems strange
like I lived so much in one day…
Well I suppose I could do a repeat.. tee hee..
Prescience To A Birthday belongs to the following groups:

And I felt the day before you could say a prescience
Of sorts
Morning meditation spoke clearly of Now
Daily activities seemed like stunning lessons on
My relationships to the Allness that is Me, Us.
And the parking spaces were always available by the entry way
Of every busy business I visited.
I smiled as if I knew this were always so
Free parking
Lots of space
Lots of opportunity to Be.
And when I was to go sailing on the open seas
That evening
In lieu I thought
Of my birthday tomorrow
I was told that afternoon that this would not be so,
I could not go.
And the funny thing was I let that go to
Immediately
The thought of what I was NOT going to do
That evening,
Took me too far away from this moment of Life
So I stayed right HERE
Where my point of attraction always resides
And I felt consumed by my connection to
THIS MOMENT
THIS MOMENT
I approached my evening without a care in the world
I felt the simple pleasure of
JOY
This joy was not manufactured by thinking,
It felt steady and even keeled and normal,
I kept myself feeling and connected to
What was happening right in front of me
And you know what?
My boss,
Who was the one that told me I could not go sailing on the sea
Came up to me as I was gloriously chopping onions and tomatoes
And said,
“I cannot go to where I was going,
So I can stay here and mind the store (as it were)
And you,
If you would like to sail,
Please by all means do.”
It was like those parking spaces all day,
I felt a knowing that this would indeed be so.
Even before it was so
I looked at him and I said,
“Tomorrow is my birthday and your
Universe seems to allow for all that I desire
Thank You.”
He smiled but I am not sure he knew just how to
Take that thought,
However, inside of him and all about him the real
HIM
Just chuckled
So I sailed yesterday
Straight into my life
The one that I had already been living so well.

What a great lesson, Linaji. Hmm…Letting go and being in the moment. As I write this reply, the daily commute of preschoolers strolls by my brownstone. They wear their red smocks and hold onto a rope so as to not get separated from the group. My wife and I have come to refer to this procession as “The Train”. Their joyous chatter is contagious – and your wonderful story reminds me to be more like them. Thank you for sharing. This was just what I needed! Glorious Birthday for Linaji!
