Fade to Light

I set out on a course to find the grains of darkness that felt Like ribbons of my soul fluttering away
In loves air streams of forgiveness
Then left was I,
Like prayer flags on the Himalayas
Colorless and frayed.
A bores mask lay near broken
Never used to scare away that which was never known
So now I have only a phantom mask of my own
.
Is it good enough,
My life?
Can I edge my way though the darkness of what is left
And feel the pull of what may become if I cut off
What was once begun?
.
It is enough
I think for now,
My life.
My mask is faded and for that I am eternally grateful
So that I am not reminded of it’s wearing
On me
On the darkness
For it, the darkness too, seems worn
Seems as if
It is fading to light
.
So I am wondering
What will all this light do
To
My Life?

    “So I am wondering
What will all this light do
    To
    My Life?”

The light will reflect the warming of ones soul to enlighten its body to make the person whole.
It brings the warmth of emotions and the likeness of life …........ with the feeling of self love.

what a wonderful poem. The insight into the life of the soul enough to capture what may or may not be owned by the author themselves.

It appears to me that the “person” on who’s behalf you wrote has not unveiled yet the ultimate mask… some Body tells me that there are seven masks to be discarded before one can really see the light.
I, the guy who knows Nada and regurgitates the wise sayings of ordinary folks, dare to venture and accept the teachings of that some Body. But, of course, that’s me.
Linaji, once again, you have made my day beautiful with your soul poured into this mold of philosophical poetry. I too, chose to fade to light all behind me.

You are my pastel deep rich wonderful light.. with so many shadows and unbelievable nuance pot holes.. that I think you see just about everything that lives.. all at once sometimes!.. I cannot imagine not having your fluffy heavy duty self in my life!!

Vasile is WOW !!! Vasile !!!! WOW WOW WOW, you are full of knowledge.. GREAT !!!
I would write something similar to it but I was thinkin not to talk too deep.. lol One did it :)

Besides the “character” of the poem, if this person is you, or anyone else you would re-something, looks like knows the answers.. But somehow dont want to get the puzzle done.. This is what I felt from it.. Great written Sister !!! :)

    Great Hugs…

    Light is evading the shadows..
    thus, forming lines and projects.
    Never too shinning….
    shade it…
    for things enhance their tribute
    to Life itself.
    Masks will fall, with death,
    egoes performing their last rite,
crying over their going out ..
    of the frame.
    So… dying and rebirthing,
    shades in motion,
    here…
    there….
    norwhere.
    From a place..
    unknown.
Rosa (yes… perfectly based, image and poem.. melancholic and resilient.A hug..)

Because the mask is nothing by the tarnishing of our feelings… and behind is there Nirvana, your poem deserves..
