I made a choice one-day to wait.
I felt a part of me slip into neutral
And coast just to see,
Just to see
Cause there is parts of me not
Yet found
And parts of me that need some tending to
I have become aware of crashing waves of joy and love
I had never before believed existed
These feelings of freedom in heart
Seem pent up in people
But I think really it is the expanding
Parts of me that are growing like
Weeds in a field of hope
Uncontained
And yet
Here I reside in a place where I too
See a story that says this is how life should be:
Contained and divided.
So I wait
For a sign from my own feelings
I may be late
I may be early
I may be right
I may be wrong
But I have never known a time like this in my
Life,
Where I can turn ever so slightly from one moment to the next
And experience profound joy and exchange
With others whom I seem to be attracting into my life.
I am bonded to this moment,
Where my heart leads me to my destiny
And my destiny has many destinations
So perhaps my destiny
Is Now.
That is why I wait for a sign
Leading me in the general direction
Called Eternity.

Waiting is sometimes the only choice we have, but, at others, we must look for the tings we need and then go and grasp them, gently, but, grasp nonetheless. At other times, the things we need come to us, unbidden. We must always be open to the fulfillment of these needs however it comes. When we find it, or it finds us, we should cherish this precious gift as, sometimes, it is not with us for long. Your words are wise, Lina: treasure this gift of joy, nurture it carefully.
