Inspired by Terilee’s friendship and love and her amazing pattern work.
After I made this poem I thought of her work and I went to this one in particular that still stays in my heart and her poem is perfect with this piece too.

I thought I could mirror timelessness
Endless promise
Snow angels in March.
Now,
Melting between my fingers
Quick like creations
Street art
With names like
Bantu and Quaymaynaya
Promises Promises Promises
I saw more highlife beginnings and crystal ball
Endings today than I ever thought possible,
But if we began the dance steps
Changing up the 3 steps to 2.
Where to next?
With melodies like
What brought us together?
Butterfly kisses with long lashes baby
Or
Profound intelligence’ make loquacious lovers.
What would happen then?
Would our Nameless urgencies
And modified heartbeats
Develop into the Karma of Camellia?

And then once I told you what you wanted
To hear
And then I stopped saying what I wanted to say.
That was the beginning I think
When the story became more
Suspended
Hopes and dreams were
Laid out like patterns with
No faces to draw upon
As the God says nothing close to me
Shall you see
So then,
The mighty winds of change
Did come
And layed us out
Cold
Particles of sand shed all the layers we thought
Useful in emergencies..
And say I,
People die in emergencies,
They just do
But then some do live to tell.

dearest David..all weekend I laid cement and worked on my book.. you have been amazing in reminding me.. do you know I have so many writings..once I printed them out..not all yet.. I have what looks like a manuscript.. I was quite taken aback.. so again my friend.. thank you so much..xox

What a year and 2 months.. what a year and 2 months.. I am taken aback by our relationship it has been so comforting and yet we keep poken at each other.. Like I said.. I dream of the day.. we get together and I see all your secrets.. all your children..screaming so I can finally scream with them… and most of all.. Just a cup o tea with thee.. You are a great artist and I am feeling so much appreciation for your attention.. really really feels so good. Since you have come here to the bubble you have brought a level of intorspection and intelligence that allows all of us to expand and feel comfortable in the expansion.. I want to thank you for that also.. Your truth and your candor are absolutely amazing as I feel sometimes men are not so prone to doing the type of exposure of ones.. strengths and weaknesses.. So your love seemed to gallop quickly beguining and ending while the earth trembled with the new found love.
More than once do our hearts beat in such a way…
overflowing the excitement of having found some we extremely like…..and fearing that this one…soon will be leave us.
