Incongruent Realities

Inspired by my dear friend Vasile Stan Ageless, Glorious and Bold. thank you Vasile. His piece is called
Principles of Lust: incongruent realities, bundled and pickled

Incongruent Realities belongs to the following groups:

Core [C.O.R.E], Deep Within, Feminine Intent (LIMIT TWO IMAGES PER DAY), The Art of Intrigue 2/24, The Healing Journey, THE SISTERHOOD and Up & Coming Writers

I HAVE A MAP of the city lights tucked neatly between my arms and I have not given you back the onerous signs of love you seem to need when the world is red
Spilling form from me
Then you telling me there are luxury signs everywhere.
I can’t take that as truth
There is a square root to the end of your caress
So, why do you lay with me?
Bundled and pickled,
Plucked and pruned,
Nullified and void as promised
Then turning to our proper perspective
Perspective that gives room for fish to fly
And worlds to pass through each other with out much ‘to do’ about nothing.
Oh, I think you know,
My Lust is gaping and gripping your sensibilities
And you rely on that map I have,
To find you’re way out.

Stop at any fill up station
Where they sell sea shells and souvenirs of a past that is slipping away
From us both.
Find a copy of your dreams
The ones you sold to the others
The ones you never seemed to share
As I stood by and watched you with longing
Trust to rust
End to end
Our incongruent realities that
Dominate now.

I think we’re lost.

Intoxicating. A heavy, heady mixture, both pieces. This shows a maturity that can only come from having lived and seen life unfold in all its twists and turns. One heck of a ride. Bravo!

A conversation to commit to the need for self preservation…..to speak of selfishness that was not yours…...I sensed anger, regret, only the glimpse of a tear and ultimately a blankness of nothing…...and all this in only 200 odd words of verse. I send you this a miracle…...look in the mirror Linaji…..there is your miracle darling XXXXX
