Began as I looked into your eyes
You see my veins pumping in the vast
Horizon of Love?
Here then,
Look!
I’ve corn husks for arms
And my amber locks sway in the breeze
That I like you here
Intent now to find the golden lining
Of your heart
For that vast belief,
And touch of faith
Sanguine headlights leading toward
Change
For ourselves first,
And part for the blinded fury of
Lovers
Kissing and telling truth
That comes from nights in
The cocoon we called a bed
But we camped for days on end
Mapping out our bodies lust lines
Our fingers found treasures
Hidden and now exploited
By our lips and our olfactory system
Bent on the scent of primal notions
That the entire mix was possible
For love.
For life
For us,
Pleasing and formal and furious,
We then rode to our ending
Noise and fast clouds sweeping in
Like our tarnished and forgotten lives
Erupting layers now to be accounted
And amended for,
Almost as fast as the last time you came
And I sucked you dry.

BJ, this has everything sensual. What comes through in your wiritng… the way you convey MOOD, is that you feel this secario deeply. That you embrace romance, and even though there is an end to this particular episode, it`s clear from your ending that your feelings are perpetual and that ther is in fact no end… There is so much ageless, and timeless hope in this lovely, caressing work.

I sucked you… dry..
When I was a child, I loved to steal green corn from the fields….
it tasted sweet and acid at the same time…
it was crunchy but suckable….
the innocece of green and new….
Love has this metaphor….
one looses the crunchiness..
and then we turn into concentrated and hard corns, or wheat.
Ideas… habits….. reflections and reflexions…
age is controlling wetness.. but it does not lack vigour.
I somehow…. cannot tell what it is…
but long for the moisted fluent inside…
I am lost…
but… your poem..
is like telling me..
that I should try to suck the corn..
and do it like when I was too, a child..
and chewed the wheat… hard and intense..
until I could feel it like milk
into my mouth.
