HOTEL ROOM II

This work was inspired by Danilo Lejardi who created a piece called Hotel Room OF WHAT YOU SIMPLY MUST GO SEE.. INCREDIBLE ARTIST AND WORKS!!!

HOTEL ROOM II belongs to the following groups:

Complex Simplicity of Art, Art in Math, Core [C.O.R.E], Deep Within, Feminine Intent (LIMIT TWO IMAGES PER DAY), Light In The Darkness, Nirvana (1 images per day and 1 written per day), The Art of Intrigue 2/24, The Healing Journey and THE SISTERHOOD

Did it ever occur to you the diamonds of my life
Started from the confines of a crib that allowed the
Hands of a bandit to grope and grab for ‘his’ more perfect union?
What happened when I tried to drown my abandonment under a blanket that did not lend the Protection I needed until
Grandma came?

I looked inside a room I made available and I began to stay in it,
I call it my Hotel Room
This place seems to have all the essentials
Bits of my pieces
Desires and wishes
Reflections and memories.
But lately this place seems a bit stagnate,
A bit smelly
And the bites from the bugs are too many.
Planks of wood on the floor like a ship sailing away into a sunset
That is golden,
Or I am hoping it to be
Creak with a noise that is deafening
And makes this ride as of late
Uncomfortable and brooding.

I am feeling him in a distance,
Standing in the shadows of perfection and I feel the Lights of the stage go on
I freeze.
I cover myself with velvet and indifference and I sink to the underbelly of my mind.

All my lovers before are there and sulking as they Watch me do it again.
They are shaking their heads in disbelief that I would rather be here with them.
But these are fond memories
Well, familiar memories,
Of desolation
And arrogance
Persecution and tolerance…
They scream.
He is a Prince!! He will not enter until he is asked.
We tire of you
We have heard it all before
You have used us past…
‘Up’!
Now be gone!

‘But I am naked’! I say and I cannot leave this place,
Where will you go when I shut this door?
They just disappear.
They always do that when I ask them questions of
Which they are not fit to give answers to.
The answers I seek perhaps,
Lay beyond that door of hope, where he stands
In gorgeous image
Bonding me to him by just
Being.

Now I take it, I must cloth myself again.
In a dress made of cotton
also,
The color is beyond my recognition.
I think it will not matter to him if I am dressed or not.
He will enter with unburdened knowing
Unfettered falsehoods
And will smile a thousands ways as I begin to meet
Him half way and say,

Come.
I have been waiting for you.

Half way… that’s a good start. Don’t listen to the others cause they never knew what you needed… Amazing how your words bring this image to tell the big story. I’m so loving what you’re doing with collabs… it’s your calling. Illustrators need writers. You could make magic!

  • linaji replied

Well.. as an illustrator of sorts myself.. I do have a few projects I would love to complete before complimenting someone else s work.. unless of course, they pay real good!! tee hee.. I would indeed make a marked acception!!

    A Prince of the Animus
bending over the lady of black pillows..
her naked body sliding along the velvety sheets,
that are absorbing the light of her skin
and the perfect diamond reflections of her heart.
Yes… not satin perfect simulation of the sky starry,
velvet is the symbol, of the perfect clothing,
that will keep inside the virtues,
and will not project any of them
so the naked body feels perfectly wrappen
as in an armour of pride and indiference.
    But she is is not
    ready to open the door,
to share the bed diffusing waves of passion,
re-construct the desires that are not her anima’s
but the man living inside a gen…admonishing
    prosecuting innocence…
    or simply exalting depredatory inspirac
    tions.
    Hotel Room…soul infected of controversy..
    I can go or remain..
    but this is not free…
    I will need to pay
either I saty to wait for him
or get away from my desire,
    Rosa
