Should I Move...On?

Just thinking…

I was inspired to write this piece from a beautiful capture by my fellow Artist and Soul Sister yes…. Teresa P. Pelaez
Called… Watching From The Old Building

I stopped off and looked at this for awhile and got inspired to write.
Thank You Dear T.

Should I Move...On? belongs to the following groups:

Complex Simplicity of Art, Core [C.O.R.E], Light In The Darkness, The Art of Intrigue 2/24, The Healing Journey and THE SISTERHOOD

The sound from this old building
Has a part of my day
Delivered to me like ice man
Melting on the streets
Drip drip..
Hurry deliver me deliver me!

Knock on my door and hear
My buzzing
Here my footsteps stop
As I turn the handle and
And let you in

Old cushions and posters
From Can Can eras
Replaced with Just do It
Tees
But I can’t
The sound of leaky pipes inside
Resonates with an after thought
That I should dare myself to leave
This space

Moving onto a squeaky clean
Kitchen
Butcher knives and Cuisinarts

Menus from around the world
Enticing you like Scheherazade
Do you want me in Sweden darling?

Thump Thump. That is my heart here
Deeply embedded in these broken bricks
Plastered over with a kindness that I give
Myself but wish it was of the stronger brand
The kind that renews itself
By tenderly applying it daily
Acknowledging the ingredients
On an unknowable label
Processed in a place called
Calzuro . WI…

You could always close shop long enough to do a fresh coat of paint and fix the plumbing… leaving doesn’t always solve issues. But we all need down time to recharge.
Love how you put your thoughts to word. You have such an amazing talent. Awesome.
But what’s with Calzuro? Isn’t that where they make the cheese they melt over Big Macs???

love the visuals of clarity again. so awesome you are. my son in law will chuckle. his phrase to me a mantra from days when i was so ill. he was only one who fought with i through chemo stuff…..a new yorker who grew up in south. could always tell if i pushed to much. he has one blue eye one green. the green would flame and i knew uh oh. his positives as this is to i was “just do it” how grateful i became in years that followed. a death of change. choice or non choice. yes this is well said and well read. you so create a sense of piece. so off another to journal….luv ya ladybug…..luck. always janet
