It was a fleeting moment that I loved you
I did not know you but I thought I did.
Your words and actions were all new to me
And I thought the sun rose and set in the presence
Of your smile
It was a fleeting moment that I cared to dream of you
I did not know the true nature of your being
I did not know that the world,
No Our Worlds,
Were as distant as Earth is to Pluto
That I could never compare
I could never be your Reality,
All in a fleeting moment
My world came crashing down
Not so much my Heart
But My Hope
Love is filled with Hope ,,,No?
Love caresses our temples and
Kisses our eyelids
Love beckons us to trust and give
All in a fleeting moment
I had to choose once again,
Do I just scorn you for your
Omissions
Or do I ask my Soul inside,
Then.
