Enviormental Exposure - Woman by

This was made with the group Her Journey in mind. I wanted to express the last few weeks of exposure to things I do not want ie: health that is seemingly at the mercy of environment, exposed. And in the midst of all the pain I found relief and a new respect for my needs. I found a way to value myself in the world of ‘enough-ness’ and gave myself a new bed that I sorely needed for so long.

Sometimes I ‘expose’ myself to much suffering before the ’truth of self care is revealed and the ease of which this process of seeing myself as a deserving woman proves painless.

Dearest Lina, before I even read the description I knew what the inspiration was. It is pretty sad when exposure to something all around us, and something we often long for, are the very things that would make our health suffer.

Sometimes too much of the truth hurts too, but knowing none s no good either. Always a need for a balance. Beautiful work Lina xx.

  • well there is redemption as you have stated recently in your work no matter what flies at us we can find particles of love inside hiding…hehehe xxx thank you!

Oh Lina, I understand what you mean. It is the heart. When you process one of great caring it is a sponge. You will take on so much and before you know it you are drowning in all the pain you have taken on. So important it is to acknowledge that this is who you are and what you do. Then you can begin to take care of yourself in the process, no your limits and move carefully in and out of peoples lives and hurts. I like this work, well suited for this thought. xox

  • Indeed dear friend, thank you for being such a lovely part of this day!! xxx

I do understand that mode of which you speak. Lina, you are ever the teacher and the student, revealing what you learn as you go along, and gently guiding, as you do so. I love the soothing green in this and that cool blue violet surrounding the hot spot. Intriguing expression in print, and beautifully stated in writing.

  • You in my mind? I mean you literally got the entire spectrum of why the colors and the green as background… Thank you so much for being the intelligent friend and mentor here at RB. wow!
