You have certainly brought a lot of depth Lina…Wowee…..x
At first I thought it was wood, burnt ,dripping in cinders….Just amazing Lina…….xxxx
    and Hello :)))

  • Doreen,, that is what is the challenge for this kind of ‘painting’.. to spend time and create depth to an image… This was more using brushes but I don’t like one dimentional work and soon it is from one thing to the next… I would really love to do some kind of fractal work but first I shall get CS 5… as a student it is only 200 dollar and I’ve a professor at the college who will purchase for me.. other wise… oh my god… xoxoxoxo
I MISS US… all of us are scattared and it’s not much fun ova thar…. you know what I mean?

    I know Lina……..x
Great to get the prog at that price!!!….my supposed CS2 is stuck on another laptop so I am left with a free program ,which is ok but the brushes you can get for CS are out of this world….so takes time to imitate any of their actions……x
We are blowing in the wind Lina ,we can always say we are seasonal…right?….lol
I reckon there will be a surge coming soon….I feel it….brought with so much positiveness and light we will need sunglasses and new shoes to step out in!!!!!…………………xxxxx

A stunning piece of art Lina. So good to see your work. Hope you are keeping well xxx

  • Hello Angela,
feelings on my journey are a bungle mix but most of the time I feel good. A bit charred on the insides. I feel this part of me is ‘burnt out’.. lolol
so there seems for me beauty in the burning.
I miss being here but I am working so much I’ve nothing left by the time I get home.. :={ (opps I am almost really complaining! yikes!)
seeing your smile always always feels wonderful Angela. xxoo

Considerable power in this Lina, as an environmental statement. Was that your intent?

  • Hello John,
wow you are close, it is the insides of me in this work. I’ve just about burnt down and yet….
    you know?
lolol I just went to your PF and said to me.. omg.. you must go over there and spend some time!!
    thank you and there always is power in the restructering of self I would reckon.:=}

Lina, I believe this is one of your finest works. It’s very painterly, and along with the wonderfully expressive trees (which seem to be dancing, even in winter, and one of which seems to have a big nest at the top), we have these great abstract shapes below them.

My first thought that the shapes represent a fence. And as I look closely I see drawn circles (or traced), as if these were coffee cup marks, imprinting your real day upon the piece.

  • Ohhhh I love you saw the nest…. yes Frannie, today feels so much better for the getting out my ‘stuff’ attack. That overwhelment I feel sometimes with all the ‘outside’ work. I will finally get to shoot next friday the boats.. but I’ve been kinda in a jungle of non art world… it hurts.. and yet… there is a plus to it and I feel you have hit on it. That nest saves me and the harshness is brewing something up but I’ve not a clue what!! Anyway it does feel terrible when I can’t keep up with me fellows.. not only in comment but in DOING THE ART!! Ha! I know you must know how that feels!
Thank you Frannie, and what are you up to today////hummm???? x

Wow: this certainly has a jungle feel, a bit overwhelming with so much going on everywhere. I feel drawn in yet a little timid – so much emotion.

  • Gosh Richard,
you really hit the nail on the head.. yep too much! but I love how this finally got done. And inside is lots of undone-ness and growth a commin..
You are such a feeling soul, thank you!
