This was the IDEA OF THE future back in the time this was built, a vision of what was to be, The whole concept was based on a future scientific model of design.
What an incredible work of art this needle is. I remember as I was 5? maybe when the worlds fair came to Seattle and I went… Later I loved going for my birthday till we moved to California…

Awesome shot! I love that thing, too…as well as the EMP in the Gehry building nearby, also a work of art. Are you from Seattle? My mom just left Bellevue last year…I loved visiting her there.
yes Jennifer, born there but left when I was arond 6. Been back to live in the late 80’s and Alaska.
My Niece atteded college there and still lives there so I go periodically.
