Some would call it charm,
he came in every night and listened to her
sing and play,
she felt like he was smoking her piano and
drinking up her heart.
Unspoken two step
yet the freedom they both experienced
from just
Being
remained constant
She felt like she was experiencing the future
everything kept getting better
except
neither of them said a word.
She was not afraid.
