Damn, Lina, this is exactly how I’ve been feeling the last few days (today is better…) deep, dark, vast, hole of sinking depression. I feel you in this; she’s scary and liberating, the latter in the sense of recognition and acceptance that she exists.

Darkness was everywhere the past few days. I was surrounded by it and nearly suffocated by it. I’m sorry it had hold of you, too.

Exceptional and brave work, from the depths. So thankful for the link to Moonsprial’s journal. It is all connected. The good and the bad. The dark and the light. We find the courage in our hearts together(through beautiful work like this) to face the dark ones and send them back to their lonely holes. Where they could have a heart beating with courage and love, they have just dark sucking holes. They stay empty even when they have finished gorging on someone’s purest soul. Always empty.

She is beautiful even in her darkness. I had to get out in the fresh air today to help clear my head. Winter is approaching and I needed to do some work around the house and property, working outside with my hands always helps to bring me back to a better place in my head and heart. Hope your trip out today was healing for you dear Linaji.

This is so evocative – the image has a broody impatient feel. I love the composition – the way you have skewed her half out of frame. Squeezing something beautiful even out of intense frustration is a magical act!
