Charting The Course
I wanted to get this one up for a fellow sailor here at the club. i want to show him today so I am posting. I just was thrilled with the look of his boat and the feel of it in B&W.

What do I think? I love the angle of this action shot. The ripples in the water makes you feel like you are in the shot with them. I love the sutle clouds behind them, making it look a little ominous. This is an adventure shot. It has all the emotion and feel of being on an exciting adventure out at sea. You have a way, Lina, of bringing it out of your camera onto the page. A sailor’s dream shot of his own!

Silky look to those clouds…love the BW…the angle of the boat…can almost hear that canvas snapping and hear the metal contraptions banging (sorry, don’t know the name but i have been blessed t know the sound.

YES!!! I felt that too Sassi.. the flapping and the feeling coming though in this shot.. I soo appreciate your take and the rigs are named so many.. jib, tiller, mast, the big pole is a boom.. and so it is a whole other world for sure in word and in experience!! thanks so much Sassi!
