I would think that dog energy is calling you, if not your beloved boyo reminding you from beyond, that you should have a canine friend and share your heart and life with another fourlegged friend

I can relate to all of that, great work!

I hope you do, i always said a dog will find us, our first was blade, the one we lost two years ago, i dreamt that i have a big black dog called blade, started a temp job as i was atemp secretary and this guy i was working for bred these black labs, he had to go abroad for 2 years and was desparate for homes for a new lot of puppies about to be born, the price was £300 each, told him i would love one but could not find enough funds and at the end of the day he was so pleased with the work i done for him that he said i could have the pick of the litter, and blade was named before he was born, after he passed on i vowed i would not have another dog unless one needed me, and lily was mistreated by a young girl in my area after she gave birth to a little girl, it seems the girl could not cope on her own with a baby and dog, i watch as the dog became more and more neglected until i had to say something, boy this poor young girl was at the end of her tether, depression, so i took lily., lily always made afuss over me every time i saw her, the young girl was got help by me and is now doing wonderful and visits lily often, so do get this puppy it may need you as you need it,dawnx

Ah puppy yearning, I know it well! My dog Ayla, a collie/Sherpherd mix passed away at least 8 years ago and I coulnd’t bring myself to replace her! But over the last few years, I have had puppy envy and not followed through…. and now with Frankie in our midst…..I think the puppy acquisition will wait a few years more….However, a dog truly is a woman’s best friend!!!!!

Wonderful portrait! I am partial to Labs… I have a yellow girl. Your Boyo sounds wonderful. It’s such an amazing gift they give us. I am lucky that my canine soulmate is still young. However, I know that their time with us is limited so I cherish every moment with my Lula.

What a wise, knowing face. I fell exactly the same way about animals as you do. WQe’ve always had rescue dogs, each one unique and teaching many lessons during their lives with us.
