Vibration Series... The Vibration of Youth
This is my niece Alanna.. she rocks my world. I have used her in several of my pieces and this one is for me one of my fav shots. She got my 6 inch boots on one day..(I ended up giving them to her) and she floated around my home as I kept shooting. She wants me to manage her career in Hollywood in a couple of years from now as she knows her Auntie L don’t take no bull. She goes to Cornish University in Seattle Wash. and is awarded a big Scholarship for her abilities as an actress. Which for a school like that are far and few between.
She knows where I came from and she trusts me. I trust her. i trust her ability to be young and wrong and dream and live and allow life to show her what the next turn is in the road. I have never ever told her she had or she should do anything. I have told her if she asked me how I solve my problems and what I still can’t seem to do very well. But though my relationship with her I feel more of the youth I still have lurking well within this soul. I love teens and young people. I tend to give them more room than my peers in my head as amazing beings, and this is a mistake. For me anyway. I think we are eternal so age really is all in the settling for a thought that one is about done with growth..

Secondly, you didn’t even really have to write that description cause the way you’ve given her to us tells me more about her than words could…this is about freedom, of spirit and of choice. Your square crop, together with her pose and the way you’ve positioned her head in the composition makes it seem like she’s outgrown her confinement, ready to follow the sun that peeks through the clouds on the horizon and beckons her to follow… the vibrations around her reinforce the buzz of her determination. this girl is SO on a mission, and if she’s got you watching her back, I believe she’s gonna get there!

This is about her ‘freedom’, I did chose this shot for exactly that Billy. She is a calm force in my world. To see her live a joyous life as a woman and not have my hang- ups in anyway shape or form brings me great, great peace… like you don’t know.
When we lived together I slept in the same room.. I had no work and the place my bro got when he moved from the house was 2 bedrooms.. Anyway, I loved sleeping in the same room, we used to totally crack each other up for about one hour before we went to sleep, her father, my brother would sometimes come in and say.. “you two… get to sleep”!! Really he would, and I would feel so bad and Alanna and me would laugh pretty hard..(she was in 6th grade and when I left she was in end of 8th grade).
I told her next life I wanted to be her sister and we would have my bro for a father… we would vision how our next life together would be, and we were not kidding. I so want to be part of her life coming up cause she makes me feel so much joy.
