This is your best work yet Linaji. I may not be in synch with the elevator theme on this one; but this image is over the top. I did not even see the eyes until I read your prose! It is the cold metalic blue/silver with just that sliver of life light in the eyes that make it work for me. Great work.

I would be truly awestruck to have the verdict delivered in such a spooky place. Should the message be all daiseys and lace, I simply would not trust it. Prior experience and spooky place delivery would make me a nonbeliver. Isn’t it weird that we trust ourselves? There simply must be salvation in that. Cheers, Dear.

I’ve been reading these comments first, thinking about elevators, would life’s question’s answers come in through the little speaker? maybe the walls would turn transparent, and you’d see a series of clips of your own life with narrative explaining shades of good and evil that you created and endured, then go back to all your other lives and compare, see how your soul is progressing towards Graduation in this big School, salient points highlighted, pitfalls that weren’t avoided, weaknesses, in short, a Performance Review from way back then to the present.

But what I keep thinking about this image is, which of us is in the cage, and which is out? Were you aware that’s the official term for the old fashioned elevator cars? So if he’s in the cage, then I can’t get any answers unless I get in too, that takes more trust than usual, and all the confidence I can muster… I’ll let you know how it turns out!
