in the elevator my mind thinks…go up… go up, but, the then the elevator goes down and the feeling of a rush to go back up again happens…when i was young i used to play in the elevators at the hospitals…and learned young how to hit the stop button….and just sit for awhile..lolol….lina i love this and the way you show inside….cant wait to see them all…this speaks tons….love it and you..

Those elevators are so interesting, much more Hands On with the gate and the big up-down lever. Now you just push a button. There is a row of elevators at work, all go to 9th except one, goes to 8th; a friend once created a perfect image of a 9th button and stuck it up in that particular elevator. He didn’t stay to watch the fun, but later that day he found his replica torn into very small pieces on the floor of the elevator. Well, I thought it was damn funny!!

lolol that is so funny Syd.. the one who tore it up.. was pissed he thought he was.. well I should not assume a he.. but whoever was in ahurry!! you can feel it!! I do so love these ele’s.. maybe go to SF and see if I can find a few.. look up otis elevator records.. thanks for the story!

This painting breaks my heart. My grandsons’ mother took the boys away from their Dad, my son. I see their faces behind the metal, separated from their Dad.
The face of the child is gut wrenching to me.

This is a wonderful design. I love the beautiful image of the child’s face.
