I like the softness, and the color, Lina. It has an old flavor. If I hadn’t read your narrative, I might have thought this was an image from an earlier time, perhaps from Italy in the early 20th C. Portraits are tricky, when they are given to the subject. I guess the question, really, is will your friend like it? I have given friends pics in the past that I thought were great, but they didn’t. People like to be flattered; they want pictures that make them look good. I think this is a great portrait, Lina, and I can see how much work you have done, but will your friend see it that way too?

I think no other photographer could have applied the artistry to applied to this stunning image. (Of course, I was gonna pretend I didn’t understand your question and say, “Woo hoo! I LOVE this model!!!” but I feel serious this morning. I missed my morning pills. Damn.)

The work is wonderful done. The only thing which disturbes me is the little unsharpness in her left eye (it seems to be unsharp). But the colour and the idea to show only her is very good. Great work from you.

What I love most about this, is the Victorian feel I get from it…not only is the bride absolutely beautiful, but the moment you captured and the editing you did to it really makes it a classic shot!!!
