The Extreme Sea of Solitude

Words are thinning..
getting older and older.
The incensed sticks are accompanying
my musing and cloudy moods.
They are also thinning… and meanwhile…
I breathe…close to them,
pushing the smoke horizontally,
as if subverting the vertical ondulation.
Seems that words also wave in ondulations,
but much more into other´s consciousness.
Alerting….
Caressing…
Rushing….
Tantalizing….
Encouraging…
their looking into my Essence.
So vain!
So naïve….

They do not beleive me,
when I state that words smell…
Yes, they do.
There is a related world of scents to the thoughts..
a prison of experiences coming from the birthing,
the pungency of the first human sounds coupled with….
blood and tears.
So salty..
The sea is talking in many forms..
so it is salty, weeded, wet, lacrimous.
Then, I feel…
that for me is Life and Solitude,
in the extreme.
The body is sugared, acid, rusty, smoked, clayed….
and again, other´s bodies…other´s words.
Inhabitants of the “Extreme Sea of Solitude”.

They do not beleive me me when I tell them,
that I can smell their souls.
And hear their pores,
and see their bones,
and touch their auras of indifference…
the “Extreme Sea of Solitude”.

    Rosa is great with words; her comments are always so poetic! Very sensual piece.

    They do not believe me, when I state that words smell… Yes, they do

    interesting… well words can certainly make us remember of imagine a smell; and if they can manipulate our minds enough to manipulate our senses, then yes words do smell, or am I just getting it mixed up with the sensation of a smell?

    Yes in your pool… you can smell.. ummm insence.. candles woods.. and the llittle bit of what ever chemical I know you try not to use… hey.. I can;t tell you how cool it is you took the time and had the courage to be different!! Love you for all that you are! I am still pondering this.. I feel like putting a journal entry out.. do words smell.. should I? xox

    What an awesome collaboration. I love the “M”s, mounds, mountains… I’ve heard that the olfactory is the most primal sense we humans have. Much of what we speak of on some level has a bearing on odor. Next is taste – of which there is plenty in both the picture and prose here.

    Oh…sorry…I was not sleeping , dear…not at all..just busy manageing home.. souls at home, my own home…soul.You know. Sunday…all but a sun-day..for it is cloudy and sleepy anyway.
    Love it!!!! Words are there navigating in a sort of skinned earth. And the smoke of consciousness is really not just thinning but cracking..as if it had previousy been “congeleaed”, and rooted with vioent both to our internal and our external world.
    They…both pieces match beautifully. That is what I meant…before…one thing is getting inspired by a picture and another flowing the moods and soul out of the moment. I find the second much more difficult, so it would be great to encourage to do this more times.
    Beleive me… your works is fantastic and the tones you have chosen are really spiritual but with a pang of passio in it.
    Have a hug. Thanks a lot Lina. (And thanks to all the beautiful people that had the patience and love to have read the words.)

    The funny thing is that… my entry of writting has not been acepted in the group or rather quite rejected for not coupling with the guideline rules…Never mind… with you having inserted it with your beautiful work of art… I feel happy enough. I had thought that the writtings did not have any special rules… should I insert some picture too? I will have to check them out anyway.

    Wonderful collaboration, something I intend to come back to and reread. Rosa is definitely great with words and visually you have intrigued me! I really like the words sitting atop the mountain peaks almost like icebergs with the most meaning below the surface.
