Thanks L, I agree, this place is not just any place, its where we come together to share our souls, I once wrote a poem about it for Liesbeth and I really did mean the words when i wrote them. I too find it hard to sleep, a bit of a tortured soul am I, but, like you i am on a journey and by expressing it through our art we will find peace in ourselves and through others.

In times of trouble we seem to go back to water…it is so like the womb we were protected in for nine months…...quietly and softly swaying back and forth as our mother’s did their daily routine….water always reminds of of our birth and we can rebirth in tempid waters anytime we want or need…I feel you are needing some type of assurance right now….....find and balance yourself my friend and the water softly calls a reassuring whisper to help you find your center (home) again….Love and Light….....xoxoxoxoxox

It’s cool. Nobody’s commented on this in 28 days, so I feel it’s a private thing between me and this delightful dessert you’ve cooked up for me…

Now you KNOW what complementary colors do for me, and you KNOW about my insatiable sweet tooth in spite of my skinniness (OK baby, there’s some muscles too, yeah?)... so you’ve done me a special treat as i’ve worked really hard today and had shit slung at me from all directions, and you KNOW the only way I’ll recover from that is by eating one of your delicious sweet concoctions…

I never would have suggested orange soufflé cause soufflé has never been one of my favs. But then, you have shown me so much of what I never would have imagined I’d embrace, and I end up licking the bowl in which you’ve created it. And your soufflé is not like any i’ve had before… it’s light, yet substantial. It’s sweet, yet tangy (love the way you’ve added bits of zest!), and the way it melts on my tongue is sublime, leaving me with lasting flavors on my pallet even long after it’s gone…

And imagine the one color syrup that I can’t imagine the taste of… what does blue taste like?? I well know the flavors of red, yellow, orange, green and purple… but BLUE? Is it raspberry like Kool-Ade? (never could get my head around how they figured THAT one out!). Nope, it’s a special flavor that you’ve mixed and spiced and blended and sweetened just for me. It’s your patented Bluebilly Syrup that has all the amazing nuances of taste that you know I love… that you started making nearly 5 months ago, slaving over your boiling pots with ingredients splattered so lovingly all over your stove and you even managed to get a bit of it right on the end of your nose where it’s so much fun to lick off… I can so see you with your curls tied up in a bun and your glasses further down your bridge than they should be cause you don’t really need them as there is no fargen recipe… and you tease me by drizzling it so playfully and dancing forming a crown on the rich orange soufflé.

But the finishing touch… is the powdered Belgian chocolate, and laced with such fine specs of green mint that you so lovingly sprinkled over the top, just before serving to make sure it retains its softness and delicate fragrance. And jeeze, I almost forgot those subtle little spurts of lemon froth that you flicked on just under the crown… just to add that wee zip of tartness that nobody else would think of.

BabyJi, I’ve got such mixed enotions about eating this… on the one hand I want to keep it around forever cause I love the way it looks and I love the way I anticipate how gorgeous it will taste. But on the other hand, I need to delve into this and gorge on it’s multi-textured lushness and totally pig out on the depth of the flavors that seem to intensify the further I scoop into it with my tongue, as I wish I will never reach the bottom of of the coupe…

This is what your amazing dessert did for me tonight, just before bed…
Nobody I have ever known does a Complementary Coupe quite like you.
