Toe Dare
This is not some statement,
Or words just to be fancy.
It is a dare.
A challenge.
Take off those shoes and match me.
Like Lina began with a shout,
Let your toes completely out!
Its time to show,
Let you inner child know,
You still have the wisdom to learn,
How good it feels to be tickled by a fern,
Or the sand between,
On top,
and all around.
Get them dirty,
They will wash.
Those toes,
They do need some air.
Sunlight and time,
To spread from here to there.
So go on,
Get your camera,
Take a shot,
Those toes,
The only ones you got.
I want to see,
The little gems,
At the end of your feet.
Show me those toes,
In a blissful retreat.
