Autumn Road

Another poem from high school

Help me dear fate
let my light be cleared
for one after each passing day
I drift slowly from what’s near
and living in a dream
where innocence and stars shine
I look at flowers white unopened
and whisper to their seam
as a life I have ahead
but so many roads to see
please give me the autumn one
for that’s where I’ll find me.
