Artist's Description

It was a very sweet winter morning. We went to my grandma’s home…that was winter vacation! No school, no study….only excitement…..how to enjoy those holidays! Here that time the sun will never let you forget his warmness. Reflection of winter sun create different image over the object of nature with his lights and shades. Every year during that time, the villagers of our country get very busy for the harvesting. And many traditional cultural programs occur. The woman’s are busy to decorate their home and making various kind of food with the new crops.
My grandmother’s house was made of soil and roofed with straw. I broke the clay pot (which used to collect juice from the date-palm tree), and I was so scared of my uncle for that. Many years passed, my grandfather passed, the soil house got modern touch with concrete. but I can still memories the ray of light smiling through the free space of the trees and leaves, the smiley faces, the sounds of making foods, sometimes the woman’s are whispering and then a hiding smile, sometimes many caws…. Missing my grandfather, missing those days…
