Ōyama Masutatsu (Japanese: 大山倍達 Ōyama Masutatsu July 27, 1923 – April 26, 1994), also known as Mas Oyama, was a karate master who founded Kyokushinkai, arguably the first and most influential style of full contact karate. He was born Choi Yeong-eui but preferred to be called Choi Baedal to indicate his Korean ethnicity. A Zainichi Korean he spent most of his life living in Japan and chose to become a Japanese citizen in 1964.

My mum always said “empty vessels make the most noise” so I’m not going to use this as excuse to say how great I am….I do what I do because I like to. If people like it then great, if not – oh well.
I have many interests, usually to the detriment of myself – not enough time to do all I’d like…what I really need is a 30 hour day and a ten day week. I use Redbubble as a great resource to inspiration. There are hundreds of great artists and designers on here.
